FAQ
YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS + WE'VE GOT ANSWERS!
When should I book?
01.
It varies! For standard sessions, it's best to book 2-4 weeks ahead. Maternity shoots are typically scheduled between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy, but we'll adjust based on your comfort and due date. Once you have your due date, contact us, and we'll plan accordingly.
Do you Travel?
02.
Absolutely! Travel within a 25-mile radius of Holland, MI, is covered. Feel free to contact us for further information.
How Do I Book?
03.
Kindly complete my inquiry form to get started. We'll collaborate to determine the most suitable date. When you're prepared to confirm your booking and we've agreed on a date, I'll send you a proposal via email. In the proposal, you can choose your preferred collection, submit a 30% retainer fee, and sign a contract. Upon completing these steps, your spot will be secured.
Where are your sessions held?
04.
We'll capture your sessions amidst the natural beauty of Holland and its nearby surroundings, with travel covered within a 25-mile radius. Upon booking, I'll provide you with a questionnaire featuring some of my preferred locations. Together, we'll select the perfect spot for your family session.
What happens if it rains or we have bad weather?
05.
I reserve several slots each month to allow for rescheduling in case of inclement weather. The decision to reschedule is at the photographer's discretion and will be made only the night before or the morning of the session. If you're traveling a long distance for your session, please don't hesitate to contact me.
What is the typical turnaround time?
06.
Following your session, anticipate receiving a proof/viewing gallery within 3-5 business days. You'll then choose your favorite images for editing. Once you've made your selections, your final gallery will be ready within 1-2 weeks.
How many images will I receive and can I have the unedited images?
07.
The number of images included in your collection is determined by the photography package you've chosen. You have the option to purchase additional images either individually or in digital packages. Editing plays a crucial role in the artistic process, and unedited files do not fully showcase my work. As a result, I am unable to provide unedited files.
What should I wear?
08.
I'll send you a style guide to assist you in assembling the ideal wardrobe, and feel free to reach out via email anytime for guidance. I suggest opting for neutral tones and gentle hues for a timeless look or jewel colors for a more memorable feel.
